Nice to see this Nerd again.

As a director, when I go to see shows that have been self-produced by singers, dancers, comics, variety acts, technicians, or anyone from a specific background, the other elements of their production are usually lacking.

Derek’s touring show of course, has strong costumes and choreography, but the usage of cast and musicians, arrangements, technical and aesthetics, and most importantly, tone and pace to sustain a 90-minute production, are pretty much right on the mark. Go see it.
